Posted by Friedrick on January 22, 2013 in Great Articles, Mobile Apps

Earlier in September, we posted about app stores other than Google Play that developers can use to increase app downloads.  That post has proven to be so popular, that we wanted to continue the list!

Since that post,
Google Play has started to exert even more control over their app ecosystem.  This has even the largest developers nervous over whether or not their Google developer accounts are going to be suspended or even terminated.
We have scoured the web to find other stores that can expand your apps horizons.  These app stores will make it easier for your app to stand out from the crowd and get the number of downloads that they deserve.  Here are the stores we’ve discovered for you:
Acquired by Opera in September of 2011, Handster is the perfect place for you to publicize your apps.
Not only is Butterscotch a great app store, they have video tutorials, articles, and many useful tips and tricks….all free!
While geared for Android tablet apps, android phone apps are still accepted
With a clean and simple design, Camangi Market is a fantastic option to distribute your apps.
Phoload already has a wide range of different apps available.  Why not add yours to the list?
Do you have any other favorite app stores that you use?  Let us know which ones in the comments below.
