Texting is THE Way Kids Communicate

If you let your kids use cell phones (which according to a new survey, somewhere between 60 to 90 percent of you do, depending on your child’s age), you’ve definitely noticed how communication has moved from talking on the phone to texting.
According to new research from the Pew Internet & American Life Project, 63 percent of all teens say they exchange text messages every day with people in their lives, including their parents.
As a parent, however, it’s important to stay ahead of the curve and look into COPPA-compliant SMS tools for monitoring your kids’ social media use!  This allows kids to securely use mobile devices to broadcast updates to friends’ profiles or direct to their cell phones.
