Pearl St Office

With the new shortcode agreement signed it was time to ramp up development to migrate to the new service. While Rizwan was working diligently working in Pakistan to convert to the RSS format. Ronnie and Friedrick were developing marketing in Basements and Kitchens at their college houses. Ronnie and Friedrick were working 8-12 hour days at each other’s homes when their roommates weren’t home. Living with college students in summer time wasn’t helping their productivity so Friedrick signed a lease on a second floor, 300 square foot office with big windows over looking Pearl Street Mall. As the start of classes approached, 12 hour days turned into 18 hour days at the office. Often times the two would take short naps on the floor, while the other went out to buy Red Bull or Coffee. The focus was scalability since there were over 800 stops in Boulder alone.  Graphic templates were merged with databases of stop codes organized by Latitude and Longitude coordinates.   Stop Codes and Marketing were prepared for Boulder, Denver, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas and Miami. At the heat of development and data entry there were at least 20 people working for Txtbus around the globe.
