Continuous Improvement

Posted by Friedrick on December 31, 2006 in OR PEER

While still attending classes full-time at CU full time, Friedrick spent his nights working with Programmers in India and Asia to continuously improve development on the OR PEER software. The software went through two more major revisions that fall and winter.  The goal was to have a very marketable project ready for the 2007 AORN Congress in Orlando, Florida.  Friedrick also began working on a website and a trademark application. Most of the time he would bring his laptop to class and continue managing development while in class.  Sometimes he was working on O.R. PEER, sometimes on Txtbus, or about a half dozen other small projects that he came up with. Unfortunately his GPA began dropping and he lost his position on the Dean’s List. The $3,000 from St. Vincent and $500 from the Business Plan competition quickly found it’s way overseas. Friedrick began using credit cards to finance development expenses.
